Areas of application Unidelta

Electro-weldable connections and transition joints

Electrofusion Connections
A competitive system compared to conventional connection systems.

Transition connections
Connections with transition from polyethylene to steel, polyethylene to cast iron and polyethylene to brass.

Butt welding fittings
Increased resistance to chemical substances and UV rays.

Clamp connections, tapping clamps and ball valves made of PP

Clamp connections: They guarantee perfect hydraulic tightness when manufacturing pressurized distribution systems.

Tapping saddles: They are made of polypropylene and are used to create single or double branches that can be connected to polyethylene pipes.

The clamp connections and tapping saddles from Unidelta were specially designed for connecting Polyethylene pipes with outside diameters between 16mm and 110mm (200 mm for tapping saddles) have been developed and are compatible with all pipes made of PELD, PEHD, PE40, PE80, PE100 in accordance with the standards EN 12201, ISO 4427, ISO 14236, ISO 13460, DIN 8074.

They are normally used for the transport of drinking water and liquids with a pressure of up to 16 bar and for general applications. Thanks to the properties of their materials, the fittings are resistant to numerous chemical substances (see chapter: Chemical resistance) and UV rays.

With the help of the universal fitting from Unidelta, pipe systems made of metric PE can be used with existing pipes of any material and outside diameters between 15 mm and 34 mm can be connected.
