1933: the beginning

Our story begins in 1933 with a small business for chemical products. The company is named SABA – the first letters of the founders Salm and Baruch.

The 1960s: Boom in sealants

The reconstruction with the high construction volume requires high-quality, easy-to-process products. For SABA, this was the reason to develop special sealants for the glass industry and later also for broad application in the building industry.

The 1990s: SABA introduces water-based adhesives

With the increasing demand for environmentally friendly products, SABA is the first company in the world to introduce a water-based adhesive with instant adhesion. These properties are very welcome in the foam processing industry.
